Donate items to our virtual silent auction

Like The Beatles, SPJ Oregon gets by with a little help from our friends. 

SPJ Oregon’s annual fundraiser, a silent auction, starts Nov. 23 and ends on the National Day of Giving, Nov. 30. And we’re asking for help from our members, supporters and friends. 

Whether you can do cool arts and crafts projects, have a vacation home on the Oregon coast or can put together a basket of goodies that represents how awesome your hometown is — whatever it is — we want your help. 

By contributing items to the fundraiser, you’re helping SPJ Oregon pay for our lobbyist, Tom Holt. Holt has been active in Salem during legislative sessions, lobbying for media access and public records transparency. One bill Holt is working on is to allow journalists into wildfire zones while reporting on breaking news.
