Announcing the 2023 Excellence in Journalism Award Winners
We are excited to announce this year’s winners of the SPJ Region 10 Excellence in Journalism Award 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 5. We congratulate the first place and second place winners, as well thank all those who submitted their entries to the contest. The Region 10 is a heavily competitive field, which spans Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho.
ABOUT THE CONTEST
This competition is one of the largest of its kind in the nation. It honors journalists across SPJ Region 10, which covers Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon.
We usually open the contest to the previous year’s entries in January, then announce winners in May.
