Register Now For SPJ’s Oregon 2021 Build A Better Journalist Conference

SPJ Oregon is hosting a virtual conference on Friday, April 30th, by donation only.

We’re happy to offer this full day of training at no cost to our fellow journalists and soon-to-be journalists. You don’t have to be a member of SPJ to register. Videos will be recorded and offered on our website later.

We've got a full lineup ahead, including sessions that will go over wildfire coverage, knowing your rights as a journalist at a protest, building and maintaining sources, virtual reality 360 journalism, and a happy-hour breakout session with our board.

We know lots of folks were looking forward to an in-person event. We hope that we can bring back our in-person conference in the fall of 2021. Of course, that depends on how the pandemic plays out by then.

Join us for the live virtual training to ask questions of our trainers and panelists, and to hang out with the board during our afternoon happy hour. We'll see you there!
